Registration for the 36th edition of the long-running Governor’s Conference on Energy and the Environment is now open. This year’s event will be conducted Oct. 8-9, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency in Louisville.
The goal of the conference is to create a conversation among government, business and community leaders on how to take advantage of opportunities and tackle the energy and environmental challenges presented in today’s global economy.
To register, visit the Energy and Environment Cabinet’s website at http://eec.ky.gov/Pages/conference.aspx.
Before Sept. 24, participants who sign up will receive the early bird special: $175 to attend the full two-day conference, $110 for Day One or $85 for Day Two of the event. After close of business on Sept. 24, prices increase to $200 for the full conference, $125 for Day One and $100 for Day Two.
Online registration ends Oct. 2; however, participants can register on-site. Cancellations and substitutions must be received in writing and may be emailed to KarenL.Wilson@ky.gov.
The conference includes an exhibit hall for vendors wishing to display energy and environment-related products and services. Vendors may also register and pay online at http://eec.ky.gov/Pages/conference.aspx. The cost of a booth is $300 and includes one full conference registration.
