On Sept. 13, the Kentucky Division of Water (DOW) released the draft KYR00, “Industrial Stormwater Permit from Other Facilities,” for public comment. In this draft permit, DOW has proposed twice-a-year sampling, use of the electronic Discharge Monitoring Report system and filing of an electronic Notice of Intent in order to gain coverage under the permit.
The period for public comment will end at 4:30 p.m. CST on Nov. 21. Comments may be sent electronically to DOWPublicNotice@ky.gov or in writing to Division of Water, Surface Water Permits Branch, 200 Fair Oaks Lane, Frankfort, KY 40601.
