“Kentucky’s Wealth of Living Things” for Biodiversity of Kentucky Day on Feb. 19

The Kentucky Division of Water, Division of Forestry, Division of Conservation, State Nature Preserves Commission, Heritage Land Conservation Fund and Kentucky Conservation Committee are sponsors of the upcoming “Kentucky’s Wealth of Living Things” for Biodiversity of Kentucky Day on Feb. 19, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. EST,  in Room 113 of the Capitol Annex.

The Biodiversity of Kentucky Day is a yearly multimedia event that takes place during the legislative session. The event will feature displays and an opportunity to interact with the exhibitors in the Capitol Annex.

Many organizations and agencies will be on hand from 9 a.m. through early afternoon to share their expertise and activities. At 1 p.m., there will be recognition of students who have won the Jim Claypool Art and Conservation Writing Contest, co-sponsored by the Kentucky Division of Conservation.
