Registration opens for Governor’s Conference on Energy and the Environment

Annual event to be held Sept 8-9 in Lexington

Frankfort, Ky. (July 1, 2015) – Registration for the annual Governor’s Conference on Energy and the Environment is now open. The event will be held Sept. 8-9, 2015, at the Lexington Convention Center.

Business and industry representatives, government officials, university representatives and others will discuss a number of topics over the day-and-a half meeting. Topics will include the Environmental Protection Agency’s rule on greenhouse gas emissions; progress on Kentucky’s energy plan and a discussion about the state’s energy future; university research; the changing business models of utility companies; business sustainability; and a conversation with staff from the Energy and Environment Cabinet. A detailed agenda, with topics and speakers, will be available soon.

Conference prices are outlined below:

Pre-Registration (Online) Prices

Full Conference — $200
Sept. 8 only — $100
Sept. 9 only (includes Awards Luncheon) — $125

On-Site Registration Prices

Full Conference — $225
Sept. 8 only — $125
Sept. 9 only (includes Awards Luncheon) — $150
