Free Workshop to Reduce Energy, Capture Savings Announced

Free workshop for companies located in Kentucky’s eastern and western coal counties

Attend any one of the free workshops designed for business owners, facility and operations managers, engineers and anyone concerned with reducing energy costs to learn about approaches and opportunities for energy efficiency. Interact with local utility providers to learn about financial incentives and other programs for commercial and industrial entities.

Topics include:

  • Fundamental concepts of energy efficiency along with tools and techniques
  • Understanding utility bills
  • Opportunities for energy efficiency
  • Incentives and working with your utility company
  • Energy efficiency resources and financing

All workshops will be held 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (EDT). The event is sponsored by the Kentucky Department for Energy Development and Independence (DEDI) and the Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center (KPPC) in partnership with local utility companies.
