Saving money on energy is both environmentally and fiscally responsible. If you or your organization is interested in saving money on energy costs, KY EXCEL, Kentucky’s environmental leadership program, and the Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center (KPPC) have organized a free “Peak Demand: Energy Savings through Energy Management Workshop” to be held on March 22, 2018, in Winchester.
East Kentucky Power Cooperative, a KY EXCEL Partner, will be hosting this half-day workshop from 8:30 a.m.– noon at East Kentucky Power Cooperative’s Headquarters, 4775 Lexington Road in Winchester, Ky. Please see the workshop’s agenda for additional details. For more information about KY EXCEL, please contact Robyn Whitted at 502-782-6476.
During this half-day event, KPPC, East Kentucky Power Cooperative, U.S. EPA Region 4 and the Morris Foreman Wastewater Treatment Plant will share their knowledge and experience. Participants will gain a general overview in order to reduce their facility’s energy demand and energy costs. This introductory workshop is a great learning opportunity for consultants, facility managers/owners, environmental professionals, and representatives of manufacturing and/or industrial facilities.
