KY EXCEL, Kentucky’s environmental leadership program, and Maker’s Mark Distillery invite you to join us on May 22, 2018 for a field trip to Maker’s Mark Distillery’s Star Hill Farm. This field trip is a great interactive learning and networking opportunity for all who engage in or wish to engage in environmental leadership.
Environmental professionals/educators, non-profits, local governments, manufacturing/industry representatives and others are invited to participate.
This interactive day is a continuation of the “Leading the Way” workshop scheduled for May 8. During the field trip, Maker’s Mark Distillery will take attendees on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Star Hill Farm and the distillery. Participants will be able to share ideas, view best management practices, gain insight on how to be a steward via both land and facility management and network with potential partners. Plus, they’ll have the opportunity to participate in expert led walks conducted by KY EXCEL Master Maker’s Mark Distillery. Sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots are advised. This is an outdoor event and is weather dependent.
Maker’s Mark Distillery will be hosting this field trip from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. eastern on May 22 at 3350 Burks Spring Road, Loretto, KY. Please see the workshops agenda for additional details. Registration for the workshop is $10 for non-KY EXCEL members. To register, please visit dca.ticketleap.com.
