Kentucky Energy Assurance Advisory Group to Meet August 31

Group to review emergency support functions, preparedness, response, and recovery

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Aug. 16, 2022) 
– The Energy Assurance Advisory Group will meet Wednesday, August 31 at 9 a.m. EST to review updates to Kentucky’s Energy Security (Assurance) Plan, required as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

The Kentucky Office of Energy Policy, as the designated state energy office, is required by law to prepare a state energy emergency plan and formulate a contingency plan to address any energy shortage that may occur.
