BIAPRTISIAN INFRASTRUCTURE LAW – SECTION 40101(d)
PREVENTING OUTAGES AND ENHANCING THE RESILIENCE OF THE ELECTRIC GRID

The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet’s Office of Energy Policy will conduct a virtual public hearing on September 6, 2022, at 10 a.m. (EDT). This hearing is being held to receive comments on the proposed program narrative for U.S. Department of Energy Funding – Section 40101(d) Preventing Outages and Enhancing the Resilience of the Electric Grid. This virtual hearing is open to the public and all interested persons will be given the opportunity to present oral comments. To assure that all comments are accurately recorded, the Office of Energy Policy requests that persons interested in providing oral comments register with the contact person in advance of the hearing.

Written comments will also be accepted. To be considered part of the hearing record, written comments should be sent to energy@ky.gov or to the contact person before 12 p.m. ET on September 2, 2022. 

The full text of the proposed narrative is available for public inspection and copying during regular business hours (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at the following locations: Office of Energy Policy, 300 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.  Any individual requiring copies may submit a request to the Kentucky Office of Energy Policy in writing, by telephone or by fax. Requests for copies should be directed to the contact person. In addition, an electronic version of the proposed narrative can be downloaded from the EEC website at: https://eec.ky.gov/Pages/Build.aspx .
