The Division of Compliance Assistance is now accepting nominations for the 2017 Department for Environmental Protection (DEP) Environmental Excellence Awards.
At this year’s Governor’s Conference on Energy and the Environment, one award will be given for each of the following areas; Environmental Pacesetter, Community Environmental Luminary, Resource Caretaker and KY EXCEL Champion.
Individuals, communities, businesses and organizations may be nominated or self-nominate for the awards.
The mission at DEP is to protect and enhance Kentucky’s environment. In support of this mission, DEP is proud to recognize and encourage environmental excellence in the Commonwealth through its Environmental Excellence Awards program. We know that individuals, communities, businesses and organizations are committed to protecting and improving Kentucky’s environment and through this program, we would like to recognize those efforts and activities.
